Marriage can really only be successful if both parties are deeply invested in it. Along the way, after a few years of marriage, your husband may seem less interested in the relationship and you. Women have great intuition so it's generally easy to tell if your husband isn't happy. If you're concerned that his unhappiness may eventually lead to the breakdown of your marriage, you need to address the issue now. There are a few things you can do to rebuild the marriage and get your husband back to a place where he's enjoying being with you.
Most couples don't laugh nearly enough. This is especially true if life has thrown its share of challenges at the two of you. Being parents, combined with trying to maintain jobs and a mortgage isn't easy. It's common for couples to fall into a rut and to spend their time together discussing serious matters. If you two haven't had fun in awhile now is the time to do that. Do the things that you both used to enjoy together. Make time to have fun, it's important and it can really impact how your husband views you and the relationship.
Respecting what your husband is feeling is also really important if you want to help him find more satisfaction in the relationship. What might be important to us as women may not matter to our husbands. The same is true of what they find important. If your husband has expressed some frustration or anger over things in the house or relationship, deal with those with him. Help him find a solution to what is troubling him. If your husband isn't happy, chances are very good that you and your children won't be as happy as you could be either.
If your husband isn't happy consider that it may be related to your behavior. It's easy to take out our own frustrations on our spouse. If you aren't happy that may be manifesting itself in the way you treat your husband. Remember that in order to make him happy, you must first begin by ensuring that you're happy too.
